    12 days tour from Tangier to desert

    Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Explore the Gateway to Africa

    Your adventure begins in Tangier, where your guide will meet you at the airport or port. Discover the city’s highlights, including the Kasbah, the Medina, and the American Legation Museum. Visit the Caves of Hercules and enjoy stunning views over the Strait of Gibraltar. Overnight stay in a traditional riad.

    Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen (The Blue Pearl)

    Travel through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the famous blue-painted city. Wander through the picturesque Medina, explore the Kasbah Museum, and relax at the Ras El Maa waterfall. Overnight in a riad with panoramic views of the mountains.

    Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

    Depart for the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site with well-preserved mosaics. Continue to Meknes, where you’ll visit the Bab Mansour Gate, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Arrive in Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

    Day 4: Fes Guided Tour – The Spiritual Capital

    Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Explore the Medina of Fes el-Bali, visit the Al Quaraouiyine University (the world’s oldest university), and see the famous Chouara Tannery. Discover the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Overnight in Fes.

    Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

    Leave Fes and drive through the Cedar Forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaque monkeys. Stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland”, and continue through the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes and witness a magical sunset. Spend the night in a luxurious desert camp, enjoying traditional music under the stars.

    Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Nomadic Villages – Khamlia – Rissani

    Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the Merzouga region, visit Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music, and meet local Berber nomads. Visit the traditional market of Rissani, where you can taste the famous Medfouna (Berber pizza). Return to Merzouga for another night in the desert.

    Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

    Depart Merzouga and travel to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, with its 300-meter-high rock walls. Walk along the canyon before continuing to the Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations like the “Monkey Fingers”. Overnight in a charming guesthouse overlooking the valley.

    Day 8: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

    Travel through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing by Ouarzazate, known as “The Hollywood of Africa.” Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a famous filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) and arrive in Marrakech. Overnight in a riad.

    Day 9: Marrakech Guided Tour – The Red City

    Explore the vibrant city of Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the stunning Majorelle Garden, once owned by Yves Saint Laurent. Experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square, with its snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls. Free evening to explore at your own pace.

    Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira (Coastal Escape)

    Drive to the coastal city of Essaouira, a UNESCO-listed port town with white-washed buildings and blue doors. Walk along the ramparts of Skala de la Ville, visit the Medina, and explore the bustling fishing port. Enjoy fresh seafood by the beach and relax in this charming coastal town.

    Day 11: Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat

    Depart Essaouira and head to Casablanca, where you will visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco. Continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, and visit the Hassan Tower, the Royal Palace, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.

    Day 12: Rabat – Tangier (End of Tour)

    After breakfast, travel back to Tangier, where you will have free time before your transfer to the airport or port. Your 12 days adventure comes to an end with wonderful memories of Morocco’s diverse landscapes and rich culture.
