    6 days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech

    Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Explore the City

    Arriving in Tangier, you’ll be greeted by your guide who will take you on a journey through the city’s historic and cultural gems. Your day starts with a visit to the Kasbah, perched on a hill with panoramic views of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea. Stroll through the Medina, where you’ll see narrow alleyways lined with markets, and local shops selling handicrafts. You will also have the opportunity to visit the American Legation Museum, a symbol of diplomatic history between Morocco and the United States.

    The museum is housed in a beautiful building with rich displays of art and artifacts. Before the day ends, you will make a stop at the Caves of Hercules, a natural rock formation with a stunning view of the sea, offering a unique and historical look into Tangier’s coastal life. After this enriching day, relax with a traditional Moroccan dinner at your hotel.

    Day 2: Tangier to Chefchaouen – The Blue City

    Today, you’ll travel from Tangier to Chefchaouen, the enchanting Blue City nestled in the Rif Mountains. The drive offers scenic views of Morocco’s northern landscape, filled with rolling hills and lush green valleys. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, your guide will take you through the charming streets of the Medina. Where almost every building is painted in various shades of blue. This beautiful city offers a peaceful atmosphere and is a photographer’s paradise. You will visit the Kasbah Museum, which delves into the history of the town. Including its Berber and Andalusian influences. Afterward, you’ll visit the Ras El Maa Waterfall, a serene spot where locals gather. And you can enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the mountain waters. Spend the evening wandering the maze-like streets of Chefchaouen or shopping for handicrafts such as woven blankets and pottery. Finish the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fes – The Imperial City

    After a hearty breakfast, your journey continues south toward Fes, one of Morocco’s Imperial Cities. Along the way, you’ll pass through the stunning Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” due to its alpine architecture and cool climate. Continue your journey and reach Fes, a city rich in history and culture, home to the world’s oldest university, Al Quaraouiyine. Your guide will take you through the Fes el-Bali Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will visit the famous Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al-Attarine Medersa, and the Chouara Tannery, where you can watch the ancient art of leather production. You will also have time to visit the Royal Palace and the Mellah (Jewish Quarter). The day will end with a relaxing dinner in the heart of the medina, where you can enjoy traditional Moroccan dishes like tagine or couscous.

    Day 4: Fes to Merzouga – Gateway to the Sahara Desert

    Today, you’ll begin your journey towards the Sahara Desert, heading to Merzouga, the desert town located at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. On the way, you’ll pass through the Ziz Valley, which offers breathtaking views of lush palm groves and dramatic mountain landscapes. You’ll also stop at Ifrane, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” because of its alpine-style architecture. As you get closer to Merzouga, the landscape transforms into a desert environment, and you will reach your desert base. Upon arrival, prepare for a memorable camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a magical desert experience. Spend the night in a luxurious desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars, surrounded by the vast silence of the Sahara.

    Day 5: Merzouga to Ouarzazate – Desert Adventures and Kasbahs

    Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, a truly magical experience as the desert sands glow in the soft morning light. After breakfast, you will ride camels to visit Khamlia Village, where you’ll experience the soulful rhythms of Gnawa music performed by local musicians. You will also visit Mersega Oasis and other nearby desert villages. Then, leave the desert behind and travel towards Ouarzazate, stopping along the way to explore the stunning Todra Gorge and Dades Valley. In the afternoon, Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” in the evening and visit the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios.  You’ll visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous filming location for movies such as “Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones.”  before checking into your hotel for the night.

    Day 6: Ouarzazate to Marrakech – Scenic Journey Through the Atlas Mountains

    On the final day of your tour, you’ll travel from Ouarzazate to Marrakech, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will stop for photos at beautiful viewpoints, showcasing Morocco’s rugged mountain landscape. Upon reaching Marrakech, you’ll enjoy a short guided tour of the city, starting with the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its lively atmosphere, food stalls, and entertainers. Visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque and explore the tranquil Majorelle Gardens. The day ends with a final dinner in the vibrant city, where you can reflect on the journey and enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine before being dropped off at your hotel or airport.
