Morning Departure: Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 7:30 AM. Enjoy a scenic drive through the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains, passing picturesque landscapes and traditional Berber villages.
Tizi n’Tichka Pass: Stop at the highest mountain pass in North Africa (2,260m) to admire panoramic views and capture stunning photographs of the rugged terrain.
Visit to a Berber Village: Experience local Berber culture with a short stop at a traditional village, where you can learn about their customs, lifestyle, and architecture.
Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah: Upon arrival, explore the famous mud-brick kasbah, a well-preserved fortress that has served as a backdrop for movies such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia. Stroll through its narrow alleys, climb to the top for a panoramic view of the Ounila Valley, and immerse yourself in centuries of history.
Traditional Moroccan Lunch: Enjoy a delicious Moroccan meal at a local restaurant near the kasbah, with options including tagine, couscous, and grilled meats.
Optional Visit to Ouarzazate: If time permits, extend your trip to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the Atlas Film Studios or explore the impressive Taourirt Kasbah.
Return to Marrakech: After an enriching day, we drive back through the Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech in the evening around 7:00 PM.
